Decided to take off my mufflers so that I would know what it sounds like. Big mistake. And I feel so bad that I did this to my stung. I've learned my lesson.

After putting them back on the idle jumps around. At regular idle, it's around 850. But then about 30 sec later it dumps to 500 or 550. I've read a couple of topics about this and no one gave a good answer. Please help

:popcorneat:If that doesn't work take the mufflers back off and switch them... Right one on left side and left one on right side.... This may fix it...

At ultra- haha if this didn't get fixed I was going to get the gt500 axle backs. There cheap and sound great or the heartthrob muffler delete. I love the way they sound.

To all- it's fixed. Thanks for your input.

I'll tell you all what really fixed it. Very embarrassing but I didn't put the intake cover back on right. The latches were on but the opposite side wasn't correctly seated. This could have been the problem. I know I know. I'm very dumb. Luckily everything is fine now

My stock cold air induction has a plastic cover The thing you replace with a after market CAI.

The stock CAI is a box (lid and bottom piece) with a tube. There is no shield or cover.

For someone who just changed mufflers, you sure had an issue...lol
