Well I had to go out and buy a drill and an extractor set. Drilled into the hole and then tried using an extractor only to have the tip of the extractor break off into the hole I just drilled out. So...I got a new extractor set and several dremel tips so I can get out the broken extractor and try a larger size. And it was craftsman drills and extractors, and getting new parts over-nighted to me from Vortech. Wish me luck!

I do wish you luck for sure.

I don't think there are many of Us that have Not Broken a bolt off at some time or other.

A major Pain if it does not come right out.

The only think I can suggest is trying to concentrate and take your time trying to remove it.

It is so easy to get aggravated and then get in a rush and then it goes down-hill quick.

I am taking my time, I even started with the smallest bit and worked up 2 size before trying the extraction. But I am a pretty persistant sob and I don't like failure.

Risky, is your car tuned yet??
Should be done any day now, they had to relocate my maf after the blower. I was recirculating so much air when not under a load it was causing a disturbance in the maf in its original position. So on the bright side i will vent my BOV to atmosphere now and waiting on the Anderson power pipe which is suppose to add a few pounds of boost. When it comes in Ill bring it back and get it retuned:naughty1:

Day 3-The battle continues between myself and the broken extractor but progress has been made and it is almost out. My replacement parts arrived from Vortech only to be the wrong one, somewhere along the lines a U was dropped from the part number and I got the wrong part, so they will be in tomorrow. Right now I am sitting on some steps watching my motorcycle and car getting rained on while I drink a cold one. More to follow...

Oh, and the Owner is OLD also :LMAO:

Here it is before the Fancy Paint job and Upgraded wheels & Brakes.

With that last Met. Paint job it was also up dated with a NOS ......

Yes, it was a Very Bad Boy on the street.

I finally got the extractor/broken stud out! I might do a write up on it once I am done installing this thing, now just waiting on the UPS man to show up with my replacements. Might go ahead and extend the MAF and I still need to do the BAP.
