I spent all yesterday installing my trunk mounted intercooler reservoir and everything went fine other than I can barely hold my head up from being on my back all day. Anyway there is one thing that I'm not sure is an issue. I kept the the old tiny Saleen reservoir to use as a high point to let air out of the system. The weird thing is that when I remove the cap it will completely over flow, which kind of makes sense since it is pushing water through the system. The other weird thing is if I turn everything off and pull off the lid to the old smaller reservoir it will be approx 2/3-3/4 full and will than slowly begin to empty and drain back to the trunk mounted tank.

The way I have the lines routed is the trunk tank feeds directly to the intercooler then old reservoir then down to the heat exchanger and back to the trunk tank.

Is this normal? If not what do you guys think is wrong?

For reference the old reservoir can be seen on the passenger side tower:

I removed the tank that came with my e-force blower when I put my trunk reservoir in and haven't had any issues with air in the lines. I think the air just works itself out as you run it.

I was thinking of bypassing it to. I don't think it does to much harm being that it's pass the blower.

This is your best bet I think. Wait until Friday and we can look at it and see what the best way to get rid of the little resevoir and just cut it out of the equation.

Took it out for a drive and it's pulling hard. So it seems good. I'll just wait until this weekend to check it out with you guys.
