Where do i find an inverted flare brake fitting 3/8"-24 x 1/2"-20 fine thread 45* angle. I have been looking for the past 3 days, no luck. Can anybody guide me to the right place. TIA!

That fitting looks to me like a AN #6 X 1/2 NPT 45* Male Adapter. If my local hydraulic hose supply store didn’t have it I would order it from JEGS or SUMMIT RACING. What is shown is not an inverted flare fitting.

That fitting is just to show what i am looking for. I went to 3 local hydraulic shops with no luck, also Jegs, Summit and Russell. I can't believe nobody makes a fitting with those dimensions (45*) they make them straight, but i need the 45* one. Running out of options.

There is a maddening array of fitting styles for sure. Perhaps you could put two adapters together to get what you need. Like a AN to NPT and a Inverted Flare to FNPT. One of them being 45*.

I'll be doing that on Monday morning, Thanks.

@ bambam 06 ... Do you have a nearby airfield ? Aircraft mechanics use such fittings - I believe

Troll 36 street machine shops which cater to MIA.

Also try Tamiami airport might be less restrictive?

That’s my neck of the woods. Post more pics of what you are exactly looking for or what you are working on.

Post more pics of what you are exactly looking for or what you are working on. >>This is the problem, i changed master cylinder and the line coming out of the new master cylinder is right above the inlet to the proportioning valve. Hence i need the 45* fitting. You'd think that you could find that fitting anywhere, but it has turn into a nightmare.

Here is another view, that 45* fitting will solve the problem in a second!

Could you offset that proportioning valve 1/2" north, so you could go straight in with the line? Looks to be just two screws, the question is, do you have enough backing?

That is my last resort, as i would have to remove the proportioning valve and redrill the bracket . Unless i find the fitting tomorrow, looks like that is :confused:my next move.

Well after spending all day and going to 7 different places, from one end of town to the other, the consensus was that the fitting is not made in the USA!! So i removed the proportioning valve and bracket and after carefully measuring, i drilled 2 holes in the bracket 1" from the OEM holes.Everything fits to a "T". So tomorrow i will reinstall it. What a mission.
