Meguiars makes awesome stuff and I personally would recommend Meguiars M205 as a polish. It makes for a great one step polish for a car with mild swirls/scratches. This polish finishes down very nicely with a rotary or DA. I would then seal it with 1-3 coats of Blackfire Wet Diamond.

I bought all my detailing supplies through Proper Auto Care (detailer's program), but they have since gone out of business. I would take a look at AutoGeek, they have a great selection online and their prices are reasonable.

Hope this helps!

I was originally looking for M205 as a polish, do auto parts stores not sell the stuff?
Also stupid question but does it say M205 on the front of the bottle? Haha I was looking over the small selection of meguiars polishes that auto zone had and I didnt see numbers on any of them..

Thanks for all of the help!

Looks like a good kit but I don't see that it has a spray to be used with the clay bar. The ultimate compound works well by hand or with a buffer. That would be a great starter kit.well worh the money.

yeah i have plenty of the spray to use with the clay bar, is the ultimate compound that comes with this kit more or less abrasive than M205?

By hand or using a polisher???

It is more agressive than 205 but if using by hand it won't be that agressive.
