My car has lunched 2 alternators since I've owned it (so-far). The first one was the factory one so I picked up a re-man from Autozone because it came with a lifetime warranty. Well, sure enough about a year later that one went too.

Took it back to Autozone and got a quizzical look and was asked if a professional installed it... Um, yeah, of course a professional installed it.. You don't think I'd let anyone but an ASE certified tech work on my car do you? (riiiight... If my car goes to a shop it's because something is seriously F'd up.) But they did give me a new one for free so I can't bitch.

On my third one now. I'm sure it has NOTHING to do with the way the E-force kit mounts the alternator backwards and spins it in reverse! HAHA!!
