Fuck Jordan Ford!!!!! I use DT in the Forum its right by the house. They always treat me right.
My experience at both places seems quite the opposite. I got my base V6 for $21,500 at the end of March - far as I can tell, that's a pretty good price. They gave me a fair trade-in value for my Crown Vic, and even paid for a meal for me while I waited for the paperwork process to be completed. The owner of the place even came around to make sure I was being treated well. I really can't complain (and believe me, I would complain if something had gone sideways. What happened to you guys at Jordan that would cause your reaction?
Regarding DT at the Forum:
Saturday #1
0) Took new AMR wheels to DT for mounting (they had to order the tires). At the time, we discovered that one of the wheels had been damaged during shipment. I ordered a replacement while waiting for the mounting to finished.
Saturday #2
1) Got the replacement, took it to DT to swap out the bad one. The manager expressed amazement at the severity of the damage, and rolled the car into the bay to swap the wheels. They put the take-off into the box and into my trunk.
2) I went to have my windows tinted, and then immediately afterwards, I went home to box up the wheel to send back to AM. At that point, I noticed that the wheel in the trunk didn't have any damage on it, so i checked, and sure enough, the idiots at DT had swapped out the wrong wheel (even after the manager had SEEN the damage).
3) Went back to DT, explained what they did, and said I didn't notice until after I got back from getting the windows tinted, and that's why I was there so late in the afternoon. The manager observed the tint job and asked who did it, and blah blah blah. Before I could stop the service monkey, he ROLLED BOTH WINDOWS DOWN.
4) They replaced the correct wheel this time, but in the process, the impact wrench slipped and scraped two gouges out of the painted surface of the wheel. When the manager handed me my keys, and explained that they had damaged the wheel, he said, "I've already ordered you a new replacement wheel."
5) I drove BACK to the tinty shop and had them check to make sure the tint wasn't screwed up. Fortunately, it wasn't.
6) I called the DT manager back the following Friday and he said the wheel had not yet been ordered, and that he "didn't know how someone could have dropped the ball on that". I called him out for that, and said, "Well, you told me before I left the shop that you'd already ordered it, so a) YOU dropped the ball, and b) YOU lied to me."
7) He just called me to let me know my new wheel is in, so I'm gonna go pick it up, and find someplace else to mount it for me. I'll never go back to DT for anything - ever.

On anther topic - do you still have your American Muscle wheel caps (I have the gloss black version of your wheels)? I want to try something and I need a set of AM wheel caps to do it. I'll give you $20 for them.
