The first gen 2.6 was just not as good a blower as the 2.4, or the 2.6H and 2.8.

Was it because it was a new design and they were coming off of the Autorotors?

I'm running a polished Autorotor 2.4.

No, you can run that kit with the stock blower pulley (about 9-10psi) and with a good tune can pull about 450 RWHP through and Automatic, to around 480 with a Manual transmission without fail. Don't push the stock motor past that and you'll be fine. You'll like it.

There was a few things like air filter and some other things i think some wiring and stuff. I know it was the same kit i looked at because it is the only one on ebay for the S197. I looked at it and the seller didn't even have actual pictures. He used pics of the KB website. Anyway, i hope you do get a complete kit. I wouldn't buy a kit off a car that had been wrecked without actual pictures. Let us know how it goes.
