headed home today, just walked in the door in fact, i saw a pretty sexy looking 3v coming down the road toward me.

at first i was like, man thats a clean 3v. then as it got closer i was like OMG!!!! thats(was) MY 3v!!!!! new owner hasn't changed a thing, and the car was nice and clean. nice to see it being cared for by the new owner. the last three cars I've sold have all been totaled by the new owners. and even with the money in the bank and legal release of the cars it still was maddening.

it was kinda like seeing an old girlfriend. you all the sudden remember your time together and the memories. this was happening to me, then i realized i was sitting in a track pack 13 5.0 and i grabbed third and left those memories in the wind. the 5.0 is a mind eraser, everything before it is hard to remember.

That's cool, I tried to find my old car when I sold it but it never turned up. I was curious what happened to it.

My last car was an '09 Civic SI, which I traded in on my '11 GT. I know it was my old car due to a small dent in the trunk lid. Some kids daddy & mommy had bought it for him and he had it all riced out. I'd set it up for SCCA racing and it was just all fucked up.

I wouldn't know my older 3V even if I saw it. I stripped it completely back to OEM even down to the ugly wheels and traded in Houston. It's probably body dropped with 30" DUBS ,a chop top, and twenty fat Mexican chicks sitting in the back seat turned to hot tub by now !!!!! LOL

My previous vehicle was an '01 Dodge Ram that was really clean. I saw it about a month after I traded it in on my Mustang. I swear the truck glared at me and said "F&$^ you and your Ford!"

I resent that! Not all Mexican chicks are fat!

I sold my old 2000 GT to my son-in-law when I bought my 5.0 in march.

him & my daughter don't have room for it at their house so it's lives in my driveway, talk about strange feelings when I work on my new car & my old one is right there.

Sad story.. When I was 12 my dad bought a 66 mustang coupe to restore with me. The car was my daily driver throughout highschool.. after school the car was dis assembled and restored to beyond perfection it was beautiful, midnight blue with white racing stripes. Not a bit of orange peel etc in the paint. I kept the car stock inside and it looked brand new as well. Put a 351 Windsor into it with AFR heads victor junior intake tremec tko etc.. Car was a clean weekend cruiser/racer and ran high 10's yet I could drive it dang near anywhere. Well like a moron I decided I didn't need the car after I bought a 97 cobra back in the day so I pulled the motor and Trans and put a 289 back into it and sold it. The man I sold it to ended up giving it to his son who wrapped it around a telephone pole driving drunk one night. I actually got to see the car after the wreck and it made me really sad inside.. There were a lot of wonderful memories made between my dad and I when I was young as he taught me all about cars and engines. To this day I'm not sure why that kid ended up with that car, it was too nice of a car for a teenager to be driving.

When I traded in my GT500 I saw it on craigslist about 3 months later in a junkyard being parted out. New owner totalled it with the first big storm we had.
