I like the front bumper. Just not sure what to think of the cartoonish wheel flares that go with the kit.

Either way I look forward to seeing your execution.

have someone hold the flare on the front and take a pic. im looking forward to seeing what that looks like.

almost bought a wide body kit years ago for a 89 Camaro but they didn't make one for a vert....I loved the early 90's. hell I should have put the testarossa kit on it.

The flares are only 3/4" wide so they don't protrude out as much as I was afraid of.

Weather sucks lately in NY I'm gonna test fit the flares using clamps and will post pics.

Did you get the ones with the rivets? What are you going to do regarding wheels, since now the offset will need to be lowered to fit better.

No fake rivets...ordered them all filled. The guy at Kaminari did an amazing job. I was afraid he was just gonna bondo them up but he actually refilled/molded it with same material as the bumper.

Quality wise I'm impressed compared to Saleen stuff I had before. Fitment so far is much better as well.

(I went from a Saleen lover to a hater...lol)

Sorry to hear that. I always looked forward to your mods on Saleen parts (exhaust, cooling) to make them better. Good luck with your new project. Looks good so far. Widebody mustangs look great if tastefully done; Cartoonish if done half assed. I like this example.

Got the the rear installed, also mocked up the flares.

Def gonna need some wider wheels and bit more aggressive looking wheels than the forgestars....

Anybody interested?!

Some more daytime shots and pics of the bumper. Still missing the side skirts.

Looks better than I expected... I would actually consider it too since the front bumper is a home run... however the rear is kind of a let down.

Yea not having a spoiler it definitely makes it look very bottom heavy. Also the fact that its not painted like the original.

Dang, that actually looks really good. I've never heard of the kit before this thread. I bet it'd look nasty with some aggressive offset concave wheels. Can't wait to see the finished product!
