Leather conditioner

Ive done some research on some detail forums but wanted some real world experience from some of yall here at S197. What do you use (recommend) method of application and how often?

i use & reccommend Adam's Leather & Interior Cleaner...and their Leather & Interior Conditioner...great combination of products and you will love the results...the conditioner is applied with their red applicator and gives it that factory look, not the greasy oily kind...great product IMO and i'm sure you'd like it too

Ive been reading up on the Adams products and will probably order from them. I would like to keep the leather looking new and conditionedfor the years later.

they are extremely good...customer service is top notch, and you might even have an authorized dealer in your area (or within reasonable driving distance) so you wouldn't need to wait...i've been using their stuff for a while now and have nothing but good things to say, you'll be happy

I've been using Pinnacle Leather cleaner and Leather conditioner. They make some great products. Really easy to use. Smells really good too.

Lexol is available at AdvanceAuto. They've been making leather car products for 50 years or so. Very nice product as well.

There are a lot of great leather products out there. Pinnacle just happens to be one of my favorites.

This is what I've been using on my own cars, very happy with it.

On others I'm using Meguiars Leather Cleaner & Conditioner.

Sorry, Pinnacle is a Autogeek product. Its not available @ any parts stores.

Duragloss also has some nice leather products. You can find them at CarQuest parts stores.

I love lexol. The conditioner does wonders on the stock leather and doesn't leave it feeling greasy. The instructions do recommend wiping down following application but even without doing so, the results are good.

The only thing to note is that their conditioner is just that, a conditioner. They recommend a thorough cleaning first, so don't expect results without cleaning the leather first.

I seem to recall an in-factory video (maybe "How it's made"?) at a high end car maker in which they applied Lexol following leather upholstery work and it certainly reaffirmed what I had already experienced.

Adams products are Chemical Guys.

just a fyi, you can most likely find an equivelant, cheaper.

Very true. Lexol does work well on vinyl as well though.

I used to use Fiebings saddle soap back on my tahoe but heard it was quite hard on the leather....so I've switched to poorboys products and couldn't be happier.

Gotta branch out! I learned very earlier on no manufacture simply makes every product the best. I used to be a Meguiars whore early on but finally learned that there was no reason to not try other brands.
