Long tubes void the warranty on the motor. Just fyi
anyone know exactly?
I appreciate it, I didn't know about that. This is the first new car I've ever owned, and haven't ever dealt with factory warranty issues. No long tubes don't void the warranty on your motor.
I don't give a rat's ass who told you that.
Read the law.
Magnuson Moss Act.
Under the Magnuson-Moss Act, a dealer must prove, not just vocalize, that aftermarket equipment caused the need for repairs before it can deny warranty coverage. If the dealer cannot prove such a claim — or it proffers a questionable explanation — it is your legal right to demand compliance with the warranty. The Federal Trade Commission administers the Magnuson-Moss Act and monitors compliance with warranty law.

The part you install must be proven to CAUSE the damage.
not in this case, I didn't seem toFYI dont listen to this guy..... he obviously doesnt know what hes talking about.
I spent 6 hours putting mine in, on a lift. on the floor I'd say double that number. hardest part for me was the O2 sensor connections... and as was said, be prepaired to bleed, and what doesn't bleed will get burnt,
