It was your typical day yesterday. Woke up, got dressed and got ready for a little car show going on over at the Hollingsworth Ford dealer in BR. My dad and I both went out there and parked out front on the grass, next to a Cobra R at that. Which was pretty cool considering I've never seen an R in person. I was walking around looking at the cars and taking a few pictures, mostly of the GT500's and 2 BOSS's they had there. Also, never seen a BOSS in person so that was neat.
My dad had noticed the car sales man that sold both him and my mom an 05 Escape back in 04. As we were walking around and looking at both the cars on the lot and the cars in the show, the salesman, Nathan, approached my dad since he recognized him. Even knew him by name, which is a surprise considering that was almost 6 years ago. They were talking some and had asked if we interested in looking at anything and I had mentioned that if I could get one at the right price, I would be interested in a new 5.0.
(A little background, I've been currently stock piling parts for the GT500 supercharger swap on my 07 GT and said the only way I would not SC my 07 is if I could get in a 5.0. For the right price that is...)
Well after talking and getting all the numbers where I needed, which didn't take any effort and they even gave me exactly what I wanted for the 07 without a fuss, I took home a Premium 2012 Ingot Silver 5.0(Auto). I can't believe how refined they've made these cars. It feels smoother, more responsive, crisper, etc. then my 07 GT with full suspension. I honestly couldnt even tell I was doing 80mph on the interstate that night. It felt so smooth and balanced. There's a few corners I like to take a little fast in town and the 5.0 felt right on par with the 07 with its D-Specs and full BMR suspension. I can't say enough good things about it!
