April 17th, North Star Dragway will be debuting our new Match Race Madness event. The flyer has all of the information about the race, but in short, this race is open to the first 100 entries ($25 car and driver), that are 7.99 and faster. All combinations and setups are welcome.
After entering, each racer will make two qualifying passes and then a team of NSD officials will pair the 100 drivers into 50 single match races based on the those qualifying times. When you come to the lanes for your match race, one driver in each pair will randomly draw to see how much their race is for (25 races at $50, 15 races at $100, 5 races at $150, 2 races at $250, 1 race at $500, 1 race at $1000)
Each car will be given a one tenth and 5mph cushion to prevent sandbagging, we faster than that and you will be disqualified. Also, have opened a pre-registration for people that would like to indure themselves a spot. 50 entries will be available via online registration, the other 50 will be first come, first serve at the track on the day of the event.
