I disagree about the 2010-2014's not being "retro". They fixed the lack of rear fender arches and made the overly long rear end look shorter. The front is more like the '69 models too with a curved down hood and narrower grill. Much more "Eleanor" like. To me 2010 thru 2012 are the best looking retros but of course I am biased.
The 2013 GT500 is peak S197 platform to me personally.

I do love looking at my '08 an awful lot though, even though it's beat up at this point..

I like all the S197's but the 2013-14 front is too much like the 1968 Shelby and the 2010-12 are more like the '67 GT500 which is my favorite Mustang ever. Ford copied that front for the '69 Mach 1 too.

Here is my 2012. Yes it is a Cyclone not a Coyote but with 3.36 gears and an MPT tune it's the fastest car I ever owned.

The front end of the 2010 looks like a shark to me! And I totally agree about the retro look. The '13–'14 models, though beautiful, took a more modern twist (just look at the taillights).
As I wanted a 4.6L with the updated interior, the 2010 was just the way to go for me :)

Well Brothers; I think the 69 SCJ is the best looking Mustang ever made. I will never get mine running again so selling it and keeping my 07GT. It drives great, has all needed amenities, will continue to get faster and looks almost as good. Probably the best buy in mustangs. Its hard to justify any mods as car is enjoyable as is, just needs more hp. Appx same amount as a SC. Then the fuel. Then the tuning. Then transmission. Then????? Did I mention car is enjoyable now?
Be careful! Some of the most expensive words you can say is “Well, while I’m in there I might as well…..”! It’s a very slippery slope, but enjoyable slope!
