Missing and squealing from valve cover

I know this info is in here somewhere, but I can't seem to find the proper search words to find it, so here goes;
yesterday I was at the drags (ran a personnel best 12.13 @113 w/1.86 60ft) and I missed a shift on my last run, really ran the rpm's up, now it's missing and has a squeal from the passengers side valve cover, of course I'm 520 miles from home, I'll pull the valve cover today, Ideas? I know I won't know till I pull it apart, but figured I'd ask for ideas/suggestions

Call Ford for a tow it is still under warranty I assume. You are on vacation and it started to make a weird noise wink wink.

It's now at My Dads, I'm thinking Ford would tell me to get bent, with my mods, the car still has good oil pressure, It's missing, I'm thinking it broke a rocker arm/follower? waiting for it to stop raining then I'll pull the valve cover, I have family here, so I'll get it home one way or another, even if it's on a trailer...

I'm not going to try and get ford to repair it, I'll take the hit, it's not Fords fault, I'm hoping the noise is not transfering from the lower end, hoping someone will chime in that has had this happen

As long as it was not a mechanical overrev or an overrev because of a raised or deleted rev limiter it should be covered.

Sounds like a follower, hope it's minimum damage, good luck
