Moving to Charlotte NC, Questions About Exhaust and State Inspection

Got a promotion and relocating to Charlotte.

So, the 2011 GT has Stainless Works long tube headers and offroad X pipe. I looked and noticed there are state inspections. Can I get by with putting Stainless Works convertors on the car?

How strict is the state? Anyone Know??

Gonna miss no State inspections in MN, but I wont miss not driving my car for 6 months a year.

what part of charlotte? im pretty sure they do more than a visual inspection..

North East area is where were looking. Looks like they look at the OBD II as well. From what I read in Jinx's tread I will need to have the rear O2's turned back on.

The providence area in south charlotte is really nice, my folks live out that way. Good luck with your inspection.

I know peoples in the area if you ever need help. Its just an obdII plug check now iirc havent had an inspection in nc for awhile now. It does vary from county to county.
