Picked up a 2013 Boss 302 last fall. I will be replacing the fluids before I put it away for the winter. I have searched and it was hard to get a confirmed answer.
I am thinking of using BG Synchro Shift II, should I also add the BG Friction Modifier.

The transmission is a little notch, but so far has not missed any shifts even when I hammer on it.
I am also thinking of adding the Steeda Shifter Base Bushing while I am down there.

Thanks

Yes, that's the stuff. They recommend changing every 9,000 mi, or every other oil change

Last week, I did a Motul DCTF fluid swap in my ‘12 Boss. In my opinion, the trans feels a lot better, 1-2 noticing gone. I nearly did the Callimer recommendation of Motul 75w-90 but wasn’t sure if that’s only for their stage builds or all MT-82’s.

As for the Steeda shifter base bushing, highly recommend. Comes with 2 bushings, black and red, the latter slightly more compliant. I did that and the transmission cross-member insert but ended up removing it. Too much NVH for my liking.

Thanks for the update, I have heard so much about the BG Synchro Shift II, but now the Motul DCTF is sounding very enticing.
Just waiting for my Jacking rails and Shifter Base Bushing to come in (on back order) and then I will tackle the transmission

Some time ago, Ford issued a TSB on the fluid for the MT82, basically, switched to DCT. I read of owners reporting positive results with it. But I can confirm 100%, my MT82 does indeed shift better when cold and at operating temps with the DCTF.
