+1 I can't even deny my 3650 is crap, reverse is grinding.
REVERSE!! lol
reverse in that transmission is non-synchronized. so that could be something with you clutch or just user error.

proper technique for a non-synchronized reverse :
came to a complete stop
put the car in first
then put the car in reverse

I thought TR3650s were fully synchronized? The T45 has no reverse synchro. For it I always went 5th then reverse.

I do 3rd then reverse in all the manual trans cars I drive. Always seems to line up.

I've been putting the car directly in reverse for 2 years no grinding, there is a reverse synchro.
It only grinds when going directly into reverse (now), so I go to 4th then reverse now.
How did i manage to do it fine for 2 years?

No issues so far with my MT82 and stock clutch.... almost 2 complete years with this setup now.

Love the smooth shiftyness (vs. a TR6060, for example).

Full weight car traps 132MPH .... unsure on the HP, but it's high.

Mine has been flawless since day one. Very quite and smooth, especially when compared to a TR-3650. Only issue the shifter having slight movement but a aftermarket bracket will fix that.

I think the MT82 while not a great trans is good, I have no complaints other than the 1-2 nibble when cold, other than that mine shifts smooth and it is one of the better trans Ive driven in a performance car
