Is it a stroker crank? The old way of doing things was to offset grind the rod journals to get the extra stroke. Hence the reason for using Chevy rods with 2.00" ends.

yes and no, the kit says it has a slight stroke, so it becomes 4.7 instead of 4.6.

Ah idk, just want this shit done already lol. Dropped the block and stuff of first week of July and its now September 10th and the block still isn't assembled lol
i know it takes time and all but i really wanted to be able to drive this thing before winter. ahhhhhh so anxious

I know the feeling, my car has been down 1 year and 1 day.

I've always done my own work as well, but I've never built an engine before (at least not anything like this) and I didn't want to risk blowing the thing up. So that makes it worse.. everything being out of my control. FML
