As most of you know , I sold my 05 a few months ago and have been looking for a cheap replacement. I just picked up this 2000 Performance Red GT. It was bone stock other than a K&N FIPK and Flowmasters. It has a lot of miles on it but drives great and cleaned up pretty well. I removed the side stripe, buffed, polished, and then waxed it. New brake pads, plugs, cleaned the IAC valve, MAF, and changed the oil. Picked up a set of Saleens off craigslist, lowered it, tinted the windows, moved the spoiler back and installed a short shifter. A Mach 1 grill delete , chin spoiler and o/r X are next on the list. Then maybe 3.73s and I am done. It's a fun little car and I only have a total of $5100 in the car including purchase price. :highfive:

I ran 3.73's in my '98 when I had it for like 6 years. Great gear if you are looking for more pep in a street car.

and I got like 23-24 mpg on trips.

Reminds me of my car when I had it for a few months... New edges are really hard to keep from throwing body mods at.

Very clean, looks a lot newer then what it is. Tasteful mods!

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. Don't let the pics fool you though, it is by no means like a new car. The clear coat was fading/peeling on the bumpers when I got it so I wet sanded and buffed them and hopefully stopped the peeling or at least slowed it down. It really isn't noticeable until you get right up on it.
