What rpm are you shifting at? Have you had your car on the dyno?

It seems that we are trapping about the same speed. I have 4.10s and am running the same tire size and am going through the trap in 4th gear.

My opinion, you might be shifting at too high of an rpm. If your rev limiter from stock was originally set at 6500 and you are shifting at 6500, you might be shifting at the point where you are starting to lose power in your power curve. Obviously with power shifting you want to be in your power curve.

I haven't mastered the power shifting technique yet, but I shift right around 6200.

Somebody with more expertise will hopefully chime in..............I am still learning.

Yeah i would like to see what its doing on the dyno.. but since all the changes i am doing this winter i am sure ill have figured something out and found all new problems. just really want that nasty idle eps out of a car that most people dont even know what it is and ask if its a v6 and say its the coolest v6 they have ever seen... but i have won lots of money that way....

Just wondering. When i was running street tires i was doing about 106 through the traps and when i changed over to my radials that are shorted it killed my mph i was doing about 100 or 101 if i was lucky. the et. changed also when i ran the car on street tires it ran 13.30s or .20s befor i tuned it with the radials it was running .40s to .60s? any guesses?

Stock 08 bullitt with mt radials and tune
best run 12.95 @ 102mph

thats odd cuz my trap is a consistent 110 and im running the nitto drag radials which are the shortest ones you can get.

I was running 28" DR's with 4.56 gears when I ran my best time on the 3650 and heads and cams. I ran a 26" DR from a friend one day while I had my 4.10's and got my best ET with my stock heads and cams.

Honestly, I would have to take the car down the track and see how it feels, something doesn't sound right.

I would never shift a stock motor car at 6500 without at least deletes and/or cams. Mine falls off big time up that high. I shift every gear at 6200 and trap at 6000. 6200 launch on ET Streets, 5000 launch on Et Street Radials

Your wasting time pulling it to 6500, stock cams usually stop making power around 6200
