Took the car to Houston Raceway Park tonight to make a few passes after having installed the Paxton. Stock engine except for the charge motion delete plates, Bassani catted X and mufflers, 4.30 gears, the Paxton 2200 and a tune.
Weather is hot and humid typical Houston weather mid 90's and high humidity so no 11's for me tonight but still not bad considering the weather.

Best time:
60'....... 1.902
330...... 5.115
1/8...... 7.777
MPH.... 91.96
1000... 10.101
1/4..... 12.028
MPH.... 118.06

Most likely I won't be going back until late September or early October due to the heat. I only went last night to see how the car would run after the Paxton install.

Nice times. How long have you had the pax on there?

Put it on last Saturday night, tuned it on Monday. So this was the first time at the track with this setup. Times will definately come down once I figure out a little VCT timing issue Im having and have a convertor built. I am also running Nito 555r's as a bit of a compromise between traction and tread life, but after last night I have found that leaving at anything over 2000 on the convertor resulted in tire spin so it looks like I am going to need to run my slicks or at least a better DR for the track.

Hmmm...Wes tuned it recently eh?

Im planning on going to HRP this coming Friday, were you?. We ought to run pretty close times. 12.00s are about what I run in this heat and humidity. Good races between us I think.

Of course, if you get some new DR's your 60' is gonna drop a couple tenths probably, which will leave me looking at your taillights.

I won't be able to go this coming Friday due to my work schedule. I have to work every other Friday night, of course starting middle of next month I'll be able to go Friday one week and Sunday the next.

got ya. Starting Sept 19th, they are starting a Sunday street racing series at HRP.

I am going to be checking that out too.

I'm pretty excited about that as well. I'm ready for the cooler weather to run decent times atleast.

great time! glad to see the paxton is workin out for ya

Yes so far so good, it actually works really well with the 4.30's and the auto. It's funny though because I remember you telling me I might want to drop down in gearing and I was thinking no way but I now realize what you meant. The 1-2 shift is no problem but the 2-3 & 3-4 happen way to quick to be consistent.

So did you get the ZO6 or what?
