Also, you don't need to drill anything to get the roush wing on. You don't have to use the studs.

i have had a couple bad experiences with 3m tape (my quarter window louvers) and would hate for the side piece to fly off while driving...and plus, if i were to go the 3m route, i'd have to cut off the piece already in the piece...so it's work either way

Up to you. My spoiler is 3M taped and no issues, you just have to do it right. I much prefer cutting off studs from the spoiler than drilling into my car.
