I thought you had an aluminum one, oh well, good to know.

The fact you need a T-47 bit for the install is super annoying

I did. A shop put it in and I had terrible deccel vibrations. The company told me to tried A) rotating the shaft and B) getting the the driveline aligned. My buddy and I rotated it 90 degrees and it still did it. We measured the pinion angle and I was pretty sure it was off. At the time, I did not have an adjustable upper. I had the shop take a look and they insisted the pinion was not off. I was ticked off because it was right before the first part of my board exam so I made them take it out and got a full refund. When I moved up here, I needed the bung done for the O2/Widebands so I had Dez put an adjustable in and Brian the installer showed me it was off. I had it rechecked at MPE and it is perfect now.

I will do a DS again at some point but the vibration issues are a big problem even with the driveshaft aligned. We'll see. Its a lot of money and plenty guys run without it. We'll see.

Also my appointment to get the top fixed is Monday, possibly Saturday!

I'll know tomorrow if I need to drop the car off Saturday, then we can plan on you coming up for rolling shots.

We're also totally shooting some of the fit too :dunce:

Yea, exactly. I bought this thingy that replaces the pad of the jack, and looks like this:

[_] so it jacks by the body, and the weld sits in the middle, and it was like $12.

Sounds good. I need to fabricate a boom. Also, the suction cups I got are super hardcore. Like holy crap.

Also Billy, I ordered a floor jack adapter plate for unibody cars, so instead of using the pad and bending the stupid pinch weld, it'll be much better for the car.[/QUOTE]

One of these?? This one did not cost 12 bucks...

It takes a couple days. Its not scheduled till Monday but I am dropping it off tomorrow.

Also, I may have fudged some dates in my head. Next weekend we road-trip, then the week after I have the Friday off. No need to wait 2 weeks, that was just dumb on my part.

Sweet. Let's hope this works out. I can't seem to find the instructions specific for a 2009. Also, should I order a bigger pulley?

Well here's an update on my car:
In the shop getting the top fixes - good thing

I have to get a biopsy on 2 things in my mouth Friday, going to cost me $1,100 out of pocket - bad thing.

There goes the set of Koni's I had my eye on, or the custom cams.

Least I got the WOTBOX
