I'll bring my TQ wrenches if you dont have them.

You'll need to order 2 new phaser bolts, at least rent the wedge tool.

Oil to soak them in. Assembly lube (extra oil) to throw on them once they are in.

I'm sure you have an air compressor? Many uses for that.

Billy had a pretty sweet list. I'll try and find it.

Sweet deal, im going to order the tune update today. What else am I going to need?

I think Brian got the important ones.

Off the top of my head, most of it you probably have laying around.

Wedge tool (or garden hose if you want but after doing the install, i wouldn't be comfortable with anything but the wedge.)
Sharpie
Motor oil
A container to put the cams and oil in
Two phaser bolts
Zip ties to hold the wire harnesses out of the way
Breaker bar to hold the crank pulley still while you loosen the phaser bolts
Spark plug tools, in case one breaks? Not sure if you fixed this already or have this problem.
You're supposed to use dielectric grease on the coil packs when you reinstall them but we didn't
Oh, and you need a dab of rtv and a razor blade to scape off the old rtv.

I think that's it. We didn't use the valve spring tool after all. Have some brake cleaner or carb cleaner.

If you get new valve covers, make sure you have the sensors in there (I read sometimes the sensors break when you try to transfer them from your stock ones). New Valve cover gaskets can't hurt, cleaning mine was kind of annoying.

The Black RTV is important! He did his blower so his plugs should come out nice and easy like they should...

I'm not doing the install with a garden hose, not going to be held responsible!

Looks like my in-lb wrench will get some more love!

Awesome.

Got my inspection done today... Catalyst monitor = Ready  haha!

Also fixed a SUPER annoying exhaust rattle I've had for a while. After the inspection we lifted it and low and behold, one of the rods off the muffler wasn't in the hanger, but under it :dunce:. All better now.

I was thinking we could start earlier Friday too. We could definitely do your plugs/wotbox if you want. I'm still trying to get an idea of how long this thing is gonna take. We should start with the IAT relocation since that's done outside the car and we need to wait for it to cool a little. That should take about an hour at most. Then the Whipple, I have no idea how long that will take. And the methanol injection should take about 2 hours since the bumper and everything will already be off. Then I estimate 1 more hour on top of that to wrap everything, throw the bumper back on and do a last check on everything.

Works for me. I'm trying to find out the best way to do the plugs. Some say let the PB sit overnight. Some say drive to the store and back, then let the PB sit an hour. Probably going to go with the former though.

Okay, Whipple says 10hours to install if you're mechanically inclined (i.e., that's how much a shop would charge for labor hours). Forumites have said 25-30 hours (uh......). I think 12-14 hours is fair for us. Plus, there's two of us so we could do different things at the same time.

For the plugs, I can see heat being a good thing in removing them. I would just drive it and soak it while it's warm.
