New gen TVS blower whine?

In a video clip of a Roush TVS on a 5.0 the blower whine was pretty faint. I had a Magnuson and it was whisper quiet.
I have a project coming up this summer and will be using a TVS blower. Do the FRPP whipple kits still have that great audible whine to them or are all of the TVS blowers quiet now adays? A quiet blower won't ruin my day but I loved the M122 whine. Just want to use a move efficient blower.

The TVS's don't make much noise at all. Lite whistle when going WOT, but that's it.

Are the Whipple versions any louder?

I feel like the 2.3L TVS on my GT500 is pretty audible, no pulley either. Obviously it's no Eaton from a Cobra or a 07-12 GT500 with a pulley, but still.

Both the Whipple and TVS scream!

My 2.9 Whipple

s174's TVS

Edit, sorry but I just reread the title where op was asking about new gen tvs and someone else mentioned whipple.

Well, mine's at 17 and I can barely hear it. No complaints - it puts out the power.

I think a lot has to do with exhaust note as well. My uncle can't hear his either in the car but outside it whines like a mofo.

My Magnuson TVS1900 whined pretty good with a 9lb pulley. It's no 03 Cobra but it still makes a racket

My 2013 tvs was much quieter than my ported m122 was but still loud enough to hear in the car over exhaust and radio lol. I ran the JLT carbon fiber 127 cai at the time with both blowers. This pull was with a 2.4" lower, 10% overdrive crank pulley shifting at 6500 rpm. Made just a bit over 23lbs of boost on my 3v. Carbon fiber intake tube makes a huge difference also. The stock intake tube has a massive muffler to be able to sell to those pussies in California. Here in the Midwest.. make as much noise as you want lol

FYI the Whipple is a twin screw, not a roots like the tvs. It's also a Whipple blower, the tvs is made by Eaton.

I loved the sound my Whipple made. Like sqwerl said for more noise spin it faster.

Agree with what someone already mentioned.. it could make a pussy fart sound or "quief..?" as long as it made power I can give two shits lol

I hope so! Have not got all my stuff back from all the machine shops. Now having L&M build me a set of their custom pistions.. so that will take 4-6 weeks. This is the longest it has taken me to build a motor but the wait will be worth it, rather than "settle". But yes for now just the 3.4L Whipple with the crusher inlet

but.. good grief it is getting expensive

With magnapacks I couldn't hear my whipple at all.. With magnaflows, the whine is there.. I'm good with that! The magnapacks weren't my style anyway..

My 03 Regal GS with a ported Gen 3 "h"eaton at 12 PSI whined crazy loud, though. Wish that car weren't FWD, I'd still have it lol
