Howdy, all. New to the S197, but previous Mustang owner (and Ford die hard). Picked up a two owner 2008 GT Deluxe with 112,000 miles. Seems bone stock, but does pull harder than I expected (you know with all the dissing the 3v gets). I also like how the Vapor Silver doesn't attract the same unwanted attention, even my previous blue Cobras did... I forgot how much I missed my 03 Cobra, whilst rowing through the gears on a Sunday drive, last weekend.

Looking forward to (tastefully) modding the car and nice weather daily-ing it, giving my 2018 F150 3.5 EcoBoost (tuned) a well-needed rest.

The Traverse gets to stay where it is (happy wife, happy life) . What was once a dedicated repair garage/workshop (see first pic) is now a garage/garage.

Thanks. Your comment had me do a search. Apparently, only 913 (of the ~24,000) 2008 GT hardtops were painted ZY (Vapor Silver). Good call

Update. Nice cool (50 degrees and dry, dense air) evening in Baton Rouge, last night. Just filled up so a full tank of gas and a full trunk of soccer-dad gear, but was very pleased with the one-run on the abandoned airfield by my house. Terrible 2.11 60', but managed a 13.7 @ 102.2 per dragy. Still running the crappy Ironman all-seasons, so with a well prepped track and decent tires, I'd think low 13s would be possible. Not bad for a 122K mile, intake/tune/muffler (otherwise stock) car.
