I'm looking into getting a new set of wheels. I'm ditching the 20s and going back to 18s or even 17s so I can run a taller tire in the rear for the strip. I'm torn between a few options.... I dont have a ton of spare coin laying around since the build I have about $1200-$1400 to work with. Here are what I've been considering.

They are 17x9, 17x10.5 and I could run a 315 DR

deep dish black bullits. your car is too dark to have all black wheels with no contrast like the first option. need the chrome lip.

I think the wheels that alexthejew has on his car would look good. The dark green doesn't really need to be "toned down" with black wheels like other bright colored cars. IMO these wheels arent to dark, and they aren't to bright like an all chrome wheel sometimes is. They actually have contrast to them. Not to mention the design of them kinda updates the look of our cars when compared to some of the older style replicas.

Have you checked out the LMR SVE wheels?

I think they would look great on a bullitt in anthracite or bronze...

So our cars can do +24mm in the back and +30mm offsets in the front w/out sticking out? That's good to know.

He has some poke in the back, very little though. You can get away with it running a streched tire though. Most people run the 18x9 all the way around with the 99-04 fitment.

I do like alex's wheels they are sharp, but I prob can't afford them at the time. I'm gonna be a set of bogarts for the drag strip so I only habe about $1400 max to play with
