From what everyone has been telling me the 99-04 offset seems to be the way to go. I might go with option #1 with a 315 rear tire then. But I do like the black chrome saleens... Damn, choices...

Hey Bud, as a fellow Foose owner I suggest one of two things;

1.) Buy a set of rear wheels in the same type you have now but in a 17/18
2.) Buy a set of dedicated rear wheels for the strip with DRs on it. That way you still look sharp and have functionality.

But if that fails then get the 2010 GT500 knock offs. Whatever you do PLEASE don't put a previous body style wheel on your car. It would be a massive step back from the way yours looks now.

I'm not too sure what wheel I'm going to go with yet...I'm getting a set of drag wheels for the track no doubt. Back I cant really afford to be going with another set of fooses at the time.

No problem. These wheels look great on S197's.
I wish I could get some acolas to hit the streets with
You and me both!!! Ive been searching like crazy for these. Just followed a set on ebay and they went for around $2,700.

I do tend to agree with you except for the sve's. For some reason I think they look better on these S197's than the new edges...

If you go to sell the Foose wheels I might be interested (for the right price).

I might go with the bronze SVE wheels that Jeff mentioned...it will give the car a different look. Every single set of wheels I've ran have been black.

I can actually save about $300 going with the 17s and it would give me room for a tall, sticky tire until I can buy the bogarts.
