Hello all, new member introducing myself. I'm in the St. Louis area, close enough to go to, but far enough away that the hoot owls have relations with the chickens.
Picked up an 06 gt convertible, redfire with camel color leather interior, automatic at a sub 10k price. Elderly owned, 82k miles, great condition, garage kept weekend/nice weather cruiser. My plans are to keep it as such, but with better/bigger tires/wheels than the 17 in bullet wheels that came with it. Go through the suspension and replace with new bushings, end links, maybe a 1 in drop or a steeds minimum drop if available for this model. Nothing crazy, just fill the wheel wells and ditch the 4x4 stance. It has a catted H pipe (factory?), so no need to improve that. Grams and gramps were hot rodders back in the day, but their knees kept them from going manual transmission.
Will post pics later, but so far, I happy with it.
