So long story short I am buying a set of Kooks 1-7/8s long tubes with catted x pipe from my buddy brand new in the box for a great deal. Just curious of the differences in power of the long tubes with high flow cats and x pipe vs stock manifolds with a lethal 3" off road H. Not going to go down because Im putting cats back on will I?

Most of the gains are through removing the cats. OEM shortys with off-road x produce similar gains as longtube w/ off-road x. Im not sure of your goals or NV laws but it is possible to just change the cat portion of kooks setup. I think its like ~$200 bucks to get the catless half of the x pipe.

cool thanks guys! I will probably get the cat less part of the x too, and keep the cats for smog purposes. I plan to supercharge the car one day so these will help when the time comes.
