I'm building a list of parts I want for the mustang I'm buying later this year and I've been shopping around for exhaust combos. I've come up with BBK 1 7/8 Long Tube Headers with the BBK catted x-pipe(long Tube version) and the Solo Performance cat back but I was wonder if anyone has ever done that and if it works well and sounds good because the cat back comes with the stock h-pipe style mid pipe but since I'm getting long tubes and a long tube style mid pipe if I just didn't use the h-pipe that comes with the cat back would the length be off even though BBK and Solo Performance say they mount up to stock location (where the x-pipe would end is stock location and same with the start of the cat back)?

It might work. But this is absolutely a question for the manufacturer.

I’ll try and get some pics of the exhaust recommended, installed, and tuned by Lidio. 1 5/8 BBK long tube headers, catless with resonators to keep it somewhat civil and capped off with Flow Master American Thunder. Oh H pipe. It was a bit louder 10 - 15% but with tune 31 hp gain at the wheels
