Just installed the UPR Separator on my 2006 GT. Very nicely made accessory. My only minor problem is I wish they had described how to remove the factory line from the intake to the valve cover, but I finally figured it out before I broke it. Again, nice piece. (-:

Blue smoke? Like at start up? I noticed mine do that last week. 15,000 miles is alittle soon for smoke. Maybe I need to do the separator some time soon

everybody keeps saying its needed, i had one on my 98 cobra, that being said, what happens if you dont have one??? to tell you the truth when i bought one for my 98 i bought it because everybody said to get it just because it wouldn't hurt.

I just want to know what happens if you dont have one??? Will it mess up your motor?? will it kill the car not to have one?

Regardless im getting one or try to make one as soon as i recover from my injury

Gosh, I would have never thought these engines would have that much blow by comning out the valve cover. I put 200 miles on my car and did 10 wot pulls and checked my upr catch can. I had around 3 tablespoons full of "burnt, yucky smelling" oil. Who whould have thunk it.

UPR has instructions for install on their site. Very simple, took me about 20-30 minutes. Could do it again in 10 or less.

Wow that's nasty stuff to think of all the crap that is in my intake and runners at 18k miles :( i wish i would have gotten a separator the day i bought it...

also seems like everyone and their mother is using heater hose, what's the problem with it? i have seen like 4 people say DO NOT USE HEATER HOSE but like over 100 using heater hose with no issues, what's the deal? it's all i can find right now lol

I used a Greddy separator.

That's the same one I have that I can't figure out where the hell to put it since I switched over to the Saleen Ultimate intake and the Moroso SC coolant tank. I need to get the damn thing put back on but I have absolutely no where to put it.

I'mm not exactly sure what your underhood setup looks like, but i bought some aluminum flat stock and bent it in a vice, drilled holes for the bolts and all fit pretty well.
