I have a stage 3 spec clutch was on mickey thompson et streets and i currently make 502RWHP and I'm a good driver.

My car is getting pulled by cars that are significantly slower than mine. I.E Cam only bolt on ls1s that don't even make 400 horsepower. What the fuck is the deal? My car has to be have something holding up the power.. I was being told that pinion angle has alot to do with it. Can anyone make some sense of this?

I'm seriously getting tired of getting my ass kicked, ever since the blower has been put on I don't think I have won a single race.

Anyone care to shed some light on what might be going on?

Are you a big fat fatty?

But really, I'd put my money on heat soak. It's hotter than two rats fuckin' in a wool sock out there.

I weigh 170lbs. Let me put it this way, my friend has a 497rwhp s197 raced my friends cobra and would pull him every time. I raced the same cobra with the same exact mods and he pulls me by almost 3 cars. his s197 was heavier than mine as well (yes the weather conditions are about the same)

And how is it keeping me out of jail?

And to top it all off ever since i put a new optima battery in the car it has been randomly turning off and resetting the radio stations, tune etc etc. and my fucking hood latch broke so I cant even fucking find the bad connection. I'm fed up with this car.

Cmon Jonathan it was a joke, you know what happens if you get caught. You need to check your IAT's. Its been too damn hot down here to be messing around.

Didn't we just watch you pull on your buddy's Cobra in a vid? How long ago was that filmed and has the decline in power been over a period of time or sudden?

Try reflashing your tune. Maybe your battery swap corrupted something.

That video was taken like a week ago. He's on 20's with the factory heavy IRS suspension and a vert and he beat me. we ran from a 50 where neither of us spun and he pulled me pretty good.

I don't think I have a decline in power it's just not getting put down correctly. Ever since I had the blower on the car I've been losing to cars I shouldn't have, I.E cars with less horsepower or just straight up slower.

When the car resets itself (radio stations reset etc etc) doesn't that reflash the tune anyways?

This might be basic stuff, but are you boosting the same? What is your coolant temp at? Does the car actually feel slower or your just losing to many races?

50 roll for reference

I can't feel the car pull at all. I know I'm probably use to it but that's just my two cents. I haven't checked any of the IAT's or anything like that, I plan to do all of that tonight since I know for a fact now something doesn't add up.

R u sure u r not spinning?

Dynos are a tool, unless the pulls are done on the same dyno on same day, u really can't compare IMO

Ok, and how about boost? I'd imagine you have a boost gauge? If your boosting less then you typical are, that would explain everything.

It will still peak 10 psi at redline.

I'm 100% sure, I dead hooked from every roll with those mickey t's on the back. Even 1-2 shift it barely chirped.

Where to start? First off your car isn't getting pulled by slower cars than yours, they are clearly faster or they wouldn't be pulling you. Second assuming your street racing, never believe what the other guy says his car has for mods or makes for power. Pinion angle doesn't have anything to do with you getting beat. Last but not least go to the track and see what your car will actually run, look at the et and mph versus the weight of the car, and then you will know if its making the power you think it is and if you really are a good driver.

These are all my friends that I am racing, I know for a fact what their car has done and what power they're making. When I said slower cars I mean power wise and weight wise.

I said I HEARD that pinion angle has something to do with it, didn't say it as a fact.

I know for a fact I'm a good driver. I don't need a time slip to tell me otherwise. I'm doing roll races not dig races at the moment.
