On3 turbo build

Hey everyone. Well I just ordered my on3 turbo kit and looking to install this ASAP. The only tuner I have around here apparently isn't too good so I guess Lito will be giving me a hand on tuning it.

I had a few questions before I started to buy the other parts I needed. It says I can use a boost a pump
But I was wondering if I can get away with the aeromotive 340 pump. This is a budget build so I dont plan on gt500 pumps any time soon.
Also is a boost controller required to install? I plan on eventually getting one but I'm more concerned about what is essential ATM.

I was also gonna buy on3's pmas/hpx. I was wondering I anyone had any problems with that or not.

One more thing! The turbo kit looks fairly easy to install but I have 2 major concerns. I've never tapped anything and not sure how to really do it. Also I have an 06 an I heard there is trouble with the coolant setup because the on3 was designed for
07-09 coolant setup. Is there any write ups with info on either of these?

"get away with" in ANY FI upgrade is not good, and will cost you 1000's, not including down time, etc. in only a few months... maybe in less than a mile.

Take a little more time, pay for what is needed, enjoy your project.

I only plan on making 8 pounds. I know for sure I will be fine without gt500 pumps.

I think you need to change to the 07+ radiator lines but Lightbalde would know for sure. You should get one of Lightbalde's upgraded fuel systems, it will handle your plans and save some money. If you do a search, there have been several On3 build projects that will give you some tips.

Yes that pump alone will support what you will make and more but yea buy from lightblade he will get you what you need for an affordable price

And yes I would highly reccommend converting to 07+ coolant config, thats what the kit is designed for.

SO what exactly do i need to do? just buy replacemnt hose kit for 07+ and replace my stock hoses or is there more to it. Know anywhere i can get that?

You need the 07 coolant crossover upper and lower hoses and t-stat. There are a few threads with part numbers and the process if you search.

Just Helped zexystang2 with his on3 build and he was having a hard time finding the 07 crossover, so for about 40 bucks I was able to get it going with his current setup also have a couple of tips to help save you some money.and get you more room . He is happy with the way it turned out. But does plan on changing it to the 07 setup some day. Pm me or zexystang2 with any questions. ( zexystang2 has the on3 hot and cold side with a percision 6766 turbo and made 687 rwhp with 765 rwtq)
