Either Tuesday or Thursday that's the only day he tunes through the week. Should have it all wrapped up Sunday so hoping Tuesday. What all pipes would you guys wrap I was just going to do the stuff in the engine comparment. Then the pipe that runs under the tranny, and leave everything else open.

This kit looks promising.. I really want to hear how it performed, and if you'd recommend it.. Like in an above post, i have 255/35/20s and i don't think this kit will work too well for me.. I am lowered 1.5in.

Figure I should give a little update and some new pics since I haven't in awhile. The tuner left for Miami today and won't be back till next monday. Plus I ran into a few snags with school and wrapping these pipes while on the car has been a pain. Info to people who do it wrap the piping before you put it on the car or else it will be a pain. Here is some pics I'm sure most of you wanted to see with as far as how low the pipes hang.

Yeah I'm hoping they don't, really I just cruise around in my car and up car shows and the track. So really don't pull into places with big dips to often.

I was just thinking that today, after I took it up to the dyno. I'm hoping I'm one of the lucky ones to be done on tuesday. If not for sure we will have numbers on thursday and then I'll be able to put some miles on it, if the weather is good. So with that being said some things I'd recommend people doing. First off replace the manifold studs with bolts they will not tighten all the way. Wrap the piping before you put it on. Buy a new 3in V-band for the turbo you'll want a better one then what comes with it. Get a new braided line for your power steering line. Also get one for the return on the turbo. Also I suggest making your own gaskets like we did for where all the pipes come together, this elminated all leaks. Theres prolly some other little small things I'm missing I'll remember later.

What do you mean by manifold studs? Did it come with enough heat wrap? I already moved my power steering tank. Already have my own ss oil feed/return lines.

How/what did you use to make your own gaskets?

The stock manifold studs/bolts whatever you want to call them. How you bolt down the flanges to the manifolds. For the gaskets Mr. Gasket makes a sheet of gaskets you cut out your own, I bought them at summit. It was def beneficial to do that. I also bought a extra roll of wrapping but barley used any of it so far, but I have no wrapped anything under the car. It came with 1 roll.

Gotcha when you say manifold bolts i think exhaust manifolds(headers to the head). Thanks for the tips. What all did you wrap? i will probably at least wrap the up/down pipes.
