I think trading it may have been a better option, since you only pay sales tax on the difference. If you're at 7% sales tax then that's $126 savings.
If you have a buddy with a truck to drag it along when you go to the track then you can park it with a For Sale sign in the parking lot near the entrance.

I just bought an old 28ft enclosed, that will work for what I needed. Pulls great , but man does it suck the fuel.
