He is awesome!! So gentle with kids and very loving. Plus its nice that he is protective of the house. When door to door idiots come by they take one look at him standing at the door growling and barking they just leave hahaha. Its also nice in the winter because he thinks he is a lap dog and loves to snuggle, so he keeps you warm.

Ive always been a hunting dog fan myself, we have springers over here, and when I get a bigger place I will add a german shorthair pointer.

Irishman: Thats a great lookin dane! I have always liked danes also, but am reluctant to pay that big money for a dog that unfortunately has a short lifespan (as the majority of large breed dogs have), which has made me stay with medium breed dogs. I have only been around 1 dane up close and personal but he was fantastic. The lady said he was a therapy dog and visits the local hospitals. The dog himself was neglected by its previous owners, frostbit I think (ears and paws) and underfed, but the lady rescued him and now seems/looks healthy and happy. I have to admit I was little intimidated by him, due to his size and him not knowing his power when we were playing rough, but never once did it get aggressive or too playful. He was very unique also as he was a harley, what a strange but beautiful pattern/color dog!

I had never been around a Dane until mine and I think I will always have one or an English Mastiff. Both have been amazing companions that will die for you, which is more then I can say for cats haha

Just got back from a "walk your dog" relay for life cancer event at the park. Saw some nice dogs. Two different english mastiffs there. Fell in love with them. Got the number to a local breeder who has 3 litters right now. About to go take a look at them and MAYBE even come home with one. Also saw a nice looking great Dane. Only thing stopping me is they grow to be almost as tall as me! I'm only 5'7" and my fiance is about 5'1" so the great Dane is a little too tall for her to handle.

awwww! what a cutie :)

We have a yorkie and we potty trained her pretty quickly. Some of them can be a stubborn breed to deal with. Our dog plays with the blinds by the slider every time she has to go potty. She doesnt bark, so its nice having a quiet dog.

sometimes u just have to look for the signs...she may be telling u in a way and u dont even realize it.

Here is our new baby...8 week old Yorkie...most difficult pup to potty train EVAR!!! lol...But we love her just the same

Yeah, it is funny you say that..I think we have finally figured out that when she bites at our shorts and pulls on them she needs to poop. LOL

Snickers barks like it is going out of style though. lol..It is usually when she is playing witht he kids though so not a big deal. I love her to death but she is a very tempermental little shit. Put clothes on her and she won't do anything but lay down like she is in a coma..LOL
