Picking her up today

So I decided a while back that the front end of the old girl was a little... bland.

So I said... you know what... I am gonna be working on cooling for the track days to come and a vented hood would be GREAT! But... Scoop? Cowl? I decided the least commonly seen but still sleek and subtle was the old SVT style hood... So I ordered it...

It Came! And off to paint she went.

I am picking her up in a few short hours and I cannot... CANNOT wait to see her in the sun. I will keep you keen enthusiasts posted!

thanks guys. The fitment was... well actually quite good. We bolted her up and didn't have to do much to change it. It uses stock latch and has places for the stock washer jet nozzles so I don't lose that or have to go aftermarket with it.

Yea I'm really looking into spicing it up with a new bumper or different lights. As of right now I know I'm smoking the indicators and retinting the back tail lights as well. After that there will be a lot more work done on suspension. That though is a different thread.

So with those vents do you lose the high speed hood shake from it ballooning all the air under the hood? That's just another reason I want it

Unfortunately I just left to go back to post as I am in the military. I don't rightly know. It is a decent weighted hood and with the air coming up and out over I'm gonna say it should help push it down. But I can not give you a solid yes or no. Sorry bud
