I have a 2013gt that im looking at wheels for. Im interested in 20s but im unsure how it will look. Im not looking for that slammed look just something that will fill the gap. Will 20s fill the gap or will my car look like a truck with the bigger wheels and stock springs. I cant seem to find any pics of non lowered cars on 20s..maybe its a sign but idk. I also desire to put much wider tires on all 4 corners

There are no pics of that because no one is crazy enough to do it. :)

Sent from a Galaxy S4 far, far away.

Oh yes there are. My GT sat like this for about 40 hours before I got in my driveway and put Sportlines on it.

Dont' be a dick. Do the wheels and springs at the same time.

I figured they would need to be done together to avoid that truck look but I wanted to make sure

Or do the springs first....then do the wheels.

I plan on finishing my suspension first, then doing wheels (but I am staying with 19's).

Here is mine currently on Ford racing Spyder 20" wheels with stock suspension. I got too good of a deal to pass on the wheel/tire setup so I went ahead and installed them without lowering the car yet. And yes, the car will be lowered this spring.

Thanks! I don't mind it much terribly right now, but I am looking forward to lowering it soon. Probably just gonna do a mild drop, 1 inch in the front and 1.5 in the back.

I think that looks great man. I'm not going to be lowering my car because I live in Michigan and we have CAR-SWALLOWING POTHOLES FROM HELL and I need to have some bump absorption.

In my opinion, 20s look good but they just don't make sense. Wheels are heavy, tires have no give, and wheels bearings wear-out fast. All of which drain your wallet.

The final thing I will say is a revelation that few actually know: No matter what wheels you decide to buy, you must realize one thing, and that thing is that when driving YOU CAN'T SEE YOUR WHEELS.

I think the only way you can pull off 20's on stock suspension would be murdered out like Beast's car. That actually looks good.

Here's a few of mine on my old 20's before I lowered it, and eventually went back to 18" Forgestars. I can't believe I went out in public like this! LOL

The thing isn't if 20's will fill the gap its the tire you use with the 20's here's mine with 20's that actually have tires that are slightly shorter than the stock ones. IMO the "truck look" would be if you used taller tires, and i think there is someone out there who has that and it looks a little bit off.

Sorry I think smaller diameter tires makes it worse, increases the fender to tire gap

20s on stock springs. M/T rears.

I agree, the front tires are shot so i will be getting new ones soon, but the OP was asking if 20's would help fill the gap and i'm stating that the tire size is what is going to fill the gap.
