OHH you can just GTFO... That is GORGEOUS!!

I'm with you eddie - dieselboy28 thats a sharp ride. Are those flowmasters? How do you like the sound? I hated mine until I added a set of midpipe resonators. Made all the difference in the world. Still loud but has that deep sound now that flowmasters are known for without that raspy trumpet at 2500 rpm.

Your welcome man. Just wanted to see your car after ya got it on.
I haven't talked to him lately but I know he's gonna be going off to work pretty soon, Iowa or somewhere. I'll try to get you some info. But if you and him made a deal you don't have to worry, he'll honor it when yall both get to where you can meet.

Yeah, the GT500 nose looks sooo good on Redfire. I'm gonna have to convert mine just to get some extra air to the engine and brakes. The cheapest I've found so far is $1400 for new oem parts. Everything but the hood.

Thanks for all the kind words, wish I had some better pics. I love my GT500 front end. I picked it up locally for $400 painted and complete. Since those pictures were taken I have painted the grills gloss black to match my shaker.

Yeah theyre flows, I used to really like the sound but now its getting a little annoying, that rasp around 2-3k rpms really blows sometimes. Explain to me more about these resonators.

I used a 12" long 2.5" id resonator muffler (glass pack) just behind my o/r H pipe. Actually approx. 7" behind the factory clamp in the straightest part of the pipe. A really simple installation. The type I used only have about 6" of perforation inside, the other 6" is smooth. I turned the perforated side toward the front, in other words the the open side of the perforations to toward the engine. This eliminates the most noise.

It totally eliminates the trumpeting at 23k to 26k rpm. The drone don't start in the chambered Flowmasters until about 93-95 mph. I just took a trip to Dallas last weekend and monitored the sound at different rpms. Below 90 it has no drone whatsoever. I love the way it sounds now. I don't know what brand they are, my nephew got them for me through his company. The ones I used are not SS so I will be changing them out later as soon as I find out if he can get this same product in SS. This was a test and the results were great. I am thinking about trying the Pypes axle back muffler delete with this midpipe resonator. I think it will sound even better. My stepson has these on his 08, I am going to try to borrow them for a test pretty soon.

I think in the end thats about what I paided and thats about -$300 than most pay. I added the break coolers for $9... lol. they work.

You are so right about that. Since looking at Deez & dieselboy's on this thread I'm thinking that it looks better on the redfire cars than any other.

I love it on the dark blue also.

damnit, now you guys have me thinking about the GT500 front end.

it's not a cheap swap thats for sure but it sure turns heads.

Yeah, it's sexy AND functional.

anyone of you ever thought about this? Not the best PS.

Kenny Brown's #69 is kinda like that. I like mine the way it is.

Here's my buddy's GT with a Shelby nose, sitting next to mine when it was completely stock.
