I'd recommend doing a test spot first with Primer - IronX is a chemical decon spray that will remove below surface contaminants that claying won't...since your baby is garaged, my gut says you'll be fine with Primer.

Ironx is a product made my carpro. It is used to help in the decon process. It helps remove iron particles and other contaminates before claying. You can also use this on your wheels to get the tough brake dust off.

Thanks guys! I always learn something when I pop my head into a detailing thread! LOL

No Topper needed, just keep out of the elements/water for the initial 12-24hrs...you're going color match right Scott?
Of course. Just need to find the other paint code for my color. I know JV is what most people use but PA uses the other code which I don't know. Google is my friend.

Was thinking about getting Rapidwaxx to top it with after the curing process is complete. My color really loves nuba. Experimentation is a disease in detailing. Be warned people.

I have a better solution for you, PA Famous (wax) topped with Viking Spritz as maintenance. If you can hold off for a little while, that's the combo I'll be trying. What year is your mustang? Is it Redfire?

Edit: Duh year is right in front of me lol...

JV Dark Candy Apple Red = M7197A this is your PA code

D3 Torch Red = M7042A

I can hold of on the maintenance supply as I won't coat it until spring anyways. Thanks for the code as I haven't looked yet.
