will the procharger anderson power pipe work without a cowl hood.
Good point i am just not a big fan of the stock one, from what i was told u will get a increase in boost
You have to have a Cowl hood.
I find it hard to believe that Anderson's intake will makes 30 HP over the stock Procharger piece. I would like to see some flow numbers on both before I spent the money. Now, if it is sealed to the cowl hood, that would be different.

The power pipe will fit under stick hood, cowl would be best and there is a good chance you will semi wrinkle the filer but it's not that bad if you take time and make room. You can look on my thread fir pictures of how I have my setup. As for power I never really tested befire and after. Normally when I pay for 500 buck tunes it with a few items done.
