i think that is what it requires. I dont think it will fit with a stock hood. Thats why I havent upgraded my POS plastic intake pipe.

You have to have a Cowl hood.

I find it hard to believe that Anderson's intake will makes 30 HP over the stock Procharger piece. I would like to see some flow numbers on both before I spent the money. Now, if it is sealed to the cowl hood, that would be different.

From all the research I have done, it appears it does very little without a lot of supporting mods. With cams and longtubes it gained a couple psi, but on a mostly stock block it appears to not improve on much of anything.

My tuner actually recommended not using it. Here's what he had to say about it. "Oddly, I don’t know if a powerpipe is worth much, and it places the bpv return closer to the maf which is bad"

I was shopping with the wife. Trust me I would rather be home on the forums.
The power pipe will fit under stick hood, cowl would be best and there is a good chance you will semi wrinkle the filer but it's not that bad if you take time and make room. You can look on my thread fir pictures of how I have my setup. As for power I never really tested befire and after. Normally when I pay for 500 buck tunes it with a few items done.
