Ok members. I am still new to the S197 cars so looking to get some information. I have a friend that has a P1SC procharger kit that he i wanting to sell. He wants to go back NA with some Hotrod FRPP cams. (his wifes DD) here is the questions. They are wanting 2k OBO for all the kit plus my stock replacement parts.

Kit is polished head unit with 39 and 60 lb injectors. He is making 520 rwhp/ 440 rwtq on 10# with a few bolt ons.

Is it worth my money to buy this kit or should i get something better? I see there is a lot of EFORCE cars and Powerhouse Turbos running here. (I have rode along with KDT in his EFORCE) I like the TVS hard hitting power but have seen first hand the problems it causes. Opinions are appreciated.

I ask because I would not be a racer regularly but more of a weekend warrior that may want to use power once in a while.

my original plan was a set of 127300's for sound and some power, a FRPP intake upper along with some LT and the rest of my current mods and try for 400 RWHP N/A and stop....

Help me out guys/gals

Sounds like a great deal to me if you get everything you need to do the install. It will cost you three times as much to get 400 n/a rwhp.

It sounds like a good deal. Over the years, I have a had a few Prochargers and wouldn't have anything else. 520whp out of a P1SC and 10#'s of boost sounds unrealistic though.

The 127300's make good power but sound stock. They would not be enough cam to get you to 400whp NA.

i have both types of blowers... e-force on the '05 5 speed and procharger on the '07 auto and i like both for different reasons, but for 2k that's a steal and you should jump on it. think of it this way, if you don't like it you can sell it very quickly and you're out just time. you won't lose any money on this deal.

Yeah if he's serious about $2k then take it.... hell if you don't I will thats a crazy deal. Centis are good because if you stay at low rpm you dont make a ton of boost... you already got the 4.10s which are good for those style superchargers. Take off quick with low boost and pull hard at the high end with the supercharger.

Sounds more like 12 psi to me . Might want to back it down a tad for a stock block though . 12 psi and 500 rwhp to out my stock rods with an auto trans .
Good luck and very sweet deal at 2k.

Loved the ProCharger on my '05 and love the one on our '12 project even more. Great kits and great bang for the buck, especially in this case. That sounds like a solid deal man. Can't advise on the cams personally though.

Its a steal of a deal as long as its complete. You wont be dissapointed at all if you do it. And if for some crazy reason you are you can flip it here in the classifieds pretty quickly I'm sure.
