Thanks fellas, hearing the engine start was a boost of confidence and only makes me want to wrap this up faster. I'll try and make progress on installing the boost gauge and wideband this weekend, along with installing more of the interior.

Question on the boost sensor - do any local auto stores carry the T fitting and right hose lines for me to install the sensor?

The boost gauge I used, only was plumped in via vacuum lines.
I had a vacuum distribution block to work with. Eliminated a bunch of T's.

My local Advance Auto has all that -- but only in the variety pack of T fittings. They all have windshield washer type vacuum hose.

If you're running a lot of lines, I recommend one of the billet anodized distribution blocks off of ebay. Very cheap, looks good, and cleans up everything nicely.

I just need one T fitting that will be installed between the line that runs from the front of the supercharger to the sensor. I'll check the advanced auto

Edit: stopped by pep boys and picked this up. 1/4" line and brass t fitting. I can't remember if this is the right one but if not I'll look again.

Also my shifter knob came yesterday.

Ill probably work on finishing up the interior tomorrow. So far it's like 50%

I love the hurst handle with the mgw shifter tho. The tall height is sweet.

I agree, I like the short shifting with an extended stick. That's why I am running a modified Roush. Congrats on getting it running, btw, it must feel f'ing awesome!

Haha those are cool, but not my style.

Well the new MAF fixed the issue obviously and the car sounds good. However I can't get it to idle properly until I get a driveshaft installed, the transmission flange isn't connected to anything and the car thinks it's doing 20mph unless something holds the flange from moving.

Also finished up installing the HE fan wiring, they work perfectly when the intercooler pump is on. I decided to just do it that way instead of a switch for ease of install.

Also reinstalled the front bumper... it actually looks like it being put back together.

Tomorrow's to do list:
*Remove the rest of the residue of tint off the rear window
*reinstall rear bulkhead panel (that goes over rear speakers)
*reinstall rear passenger side panels
*install front upper grille + lower grille
*install horn (relocating to the bottom of the bumper
*attempt to get to installing the boost sensor and wideband
*possibly test-fit hood
*Bleed brakes
*Bleed clutch
*Video of GF starting the car for you all

Also bringing the Shelby into the shop to redo the alignment so I can get the wheels to tuck properly just in time for Charlotte.

Thanks Alan!

How did you find that out? I looked at the itinerary last night and there is so much information to take it. Hell, I didn't even realize there was these dinners and cruises you had to sign up for/purchase tickets for.

I just plan on rolling in at 6:00am to get in line and pray that I get parking inside CMS.

I signed up for the M.O.R.E. parking with the Blue Oval Ford Club out of Shelby, NC. The guy managing that for us told us where to be. We are outside the speedway. The Friday cruise is full, I think they capped it at 700 cars.

Even with assigned parking, we are going to roll in early. I would imagine we will be there around 6:30 ourselves. I am going by the Embassy Suites on Wednesday afternoon to pick up my parking pass and goodie bag. I will PM you my cell number. Hope to see you there.
