I have on 05GT 4.6 that I would like to install a DCC PWM fan controller in to help prevent some of the problems I've read about with burnt connections. I'm sure if I do this, I would get a check engine light since the PCM will no longer be connected.
Can the PCM fan controls be disabled in a tune so I don't get a Check engine light or is there some way to connect the PWM controller to prevent this that I just can't see at the moment?
Has anyone done this, any tips or suggestions would be appreciated if this is not overly complicated.
