Pypes mid muffler cat back?

Is any running or heard the pypes mid muffler cat back system? I just recently had an off road h pipe put on with the pype bomb axle back and its LOUD but sound really good at the same time. Just wondering if the mid muffler system would quiet it down a little while keeping the similar sound?

As I do not have one I cannot speak from experience.

I would think that putting on the stock H-pipe with cats would be the only way to "quite it down".

I heard a few with the stock everything exhaust with pypes pype bomb, it sounded nice, fairly loud and wasnt to obnoxious.

With the exception of Pypes Violator's, nothing from Pypes is quiet. High-flow cats will turn the volume down a notch too. Not sure about running 2 sets of mufflers, sounds like an investment.

I had the same problem as you. I installed the O/R H with my Pype bombs and holy hell it was loud but sounded bad ass. I had some magnaflow magnapacks mid mounted before the axle and it sounds great now.

I took the violators off my girl friends gt and it quieted it down a good bit and sounds pretty good now, I was thinking of maybe getting a set of ford racing stingers?

I just got finished with a turbo install but the last three years I have been running shorty headers, Pypes X pipe with cats, Pypes mid mufflers, and 3.5in tail pipes about 18in long. I loved the sound of it. here is a clip about half way through you get to hear it.

You could also get a pair of cheap resonators and have them welded in where the mid pipes would go. This will make things a little quieter and still keep the sound you like.

thats a sweet sounding set up!! one of my favorites for sure! so would the pypes mid muffler system with the M80 mufflers sound close to this? i heard that the magnapacks and pypes M80s sound almost the same.

I have the pypes mid muffler system on mine with a pypes off road X..holy hell! No clips though...just google pypes mid muffler...tons of youtube videos with different H/X setups. this clip is my favorite one...went out and bought mine after I saw it..this one has a high flow catted x..so mine is a bit louder than his..

M80s are the mid muffler just buy 2 and get the welded in and do a axelback delete

Got mine off CL for $250 shipped! Couldn't use the axle back pipes in the kit though because of my rectangular tip Roush rear facia..had to have the muffler shop custom bend a pair of 2 1/2" pipes and weld on the rectangular tips.

Yes the Pypes mid muffler system with the M80s would sound close to this. But I believe the Magnapacks have a little deeper tone to them though. And as someone said there is no need to buy the whole mid muffler system from Pypes. Just get the M80s and have a shop weld them in. My shop was able to get both magnapacks with install for $100.

when i had the kit on the car everyone loved the way it sounded, i sold it to a member and i'll probably end up buying it again.

I had the mid muffler kit with an off road x on my '05 and loud didnt even come close to describing it. I put high flow cats in it because of needing to go through emissions, and left them in because it actually sounded better. The cats toned it down just enough to not sound like straight pipes.

i ran it with stock h pipe and frpp shorty headers, it was loud but it sounded amazing but wasn't obnoxiously loud
