So I got my Koni Sports in yesterday, found a local place that actually has them in stock, and had a question on the adjustment. First whats a good starting point? I have progress springs 240lbs in the front and 210lbs in the rear.

Also the paper that came with them show two ways of adjusting them, either using the knob tool at the top or using a vice to hold the shaft and turning the rest of it. Im guessing thats not for our cars but I want to be sure.

Thanks

Your best starting point is to clear your mind and get into a "test-and-tune" mentality. You haven't told us what "best starting point" for where or what purpose, so there's really little to go on and ultimately you're going to have to answer this question yourself.

My advice, start at full soft or just an 1/8th of a turn to hard. If this is your first step up to non-OEM struts and springs, you're going to find this setting with those springs pretty nice on the streets.

From there, crank them! See what you like for whatever you are using the car for, take notes, and just find a setting that does for the car/drive what you want it to do. Really, these are great shocks that really change the attitude of the car at different settings. One thing I found was that as my driving skills progressed (I track the car), my "ideal" setting changed. I still go near full-soft on the streets, but what I set at the track has changed over time and changes for different tracks. So keep that test-and-tune mentality.

Best,
