dude the pinnacle wax is phenominal if your looking for something to give you an instant gloss and shine. Its longevity isn't so great though, I usually re-apply everything 3 to 4 weeks depending on how much I use the car, its an easy on easy off process though that smells great and has great results every time.

Where dp you get the Pinnacle brand wax? Do they make wash?

I use Mr. Clean Auto Dry for washing the car because my water needs to be filtered first, otherwise it leaves horrible streaks. For wax I use Klasse All in One (sythetic) followed by S100 paste wax(carnauba). S100 is almost identical to P21S wax, just cheaper in price and easier to find. You can get S100 from most motorcycle dealers, I got mine from a Harley Davidson dealer for $15. I think it looks great on my alloy paint. The S100 doesn't last very long so in between waxing I use Pinnacle Crystal Mist Carnauba spray to help keep the shine, which reminds me, I need to do the entire process over again soon before it gets too cold out.

As far as off the shelf waxes from Autozone, PepBoys, etc., those waxes tend to last longer since they are mostly synthetic waxes, but do not give the best shine and depth like you would expect to see from a show car.
